Hello Quilting Bug Friends,
We are only at the end of April and I feel like there has been a years'
events that has gone on between December and now. Yes, it has been a
while since our last Newsletter, but we are constantly updating and
bettering our website and you can now also follow us on twitter. A lot
has happened here. Adrian, my husband, had a back operation, Jess turned
6, I have joined the 40's club, we have had numerous courses which were
booked out before I could even email dates to everyone as well as some
wonderful exciting business ventures. Please see below and book your
course early with a deposit that will secure your place.
We have completed our renovations and changes to the shop. Please feel
free to come and join us for a cup of tea or coffee and browse the new
stock and in-store demonstrations. For those who have not been following
us on twitter or reading the website updates, we have a first for South
Africa and are now the official stockist of the Accuquilt cutter and
accessories. Come and visit our website or visit our shop to see the new
items for sale, such as Quilt Kits, Hoffman's latest range of Bali Pops,
Pre-cut Fabric Packs and new Books & Notions. More specials and new
products will be coming into our store during June to July.
The website has been changed to accommodate our new look. Thank you to
the webmaster for all the hard work. We will also have more Kits
available on the web during May.

May - June
Launch and in store demo's on the Accuquilt Cutters and dies - see

Good Hope Quilters’ Guild in May –come visit our stand and see how easy
it is to use the Accuquilt cutter.
July – Sept
Festival in Stellenbosch during 1-7 July. We are at stall number 7 in
the Vendor Hall - We will also be demonstrating the Accuquilt on
Saturday the 2nd of July at 11h30 - 12h00 just outside the vendor's
hall!! There will be amazing specials on the product for those wanting
to buy as well as some other really unique products for Sale.
We will be running some really great courses - you can check the website

Christmas Classes
Each year we have lots of fun and run 2-3 Christmas classes and learn
how to make unique gifts that can be made time and again to decorate
your houses or give away as gifts.
This year we are going to start early. We will have our first Christmas
class in July: Christmas Crackers (1 lesson) Thur 21st or Sat 23rd for
the working ladies.
September class will be a Tree Skirt / Table Topper (2 lessons) Thurs 1
& 8 Sept or Sat 3 & 17 Sept

Course Terms:
Please note that if you are interested in doing one of our courses, we
require a minimum of 4 ladies and a maximum of 8. If you’d like to
reserve your spot, a class fee of R100 will secure you a place and is
payable in cash on booking.
The class will start at 9h30 unless otherwise stated. We request that
you give yourself at least 15 minutes to ready yourself before the class
begins.
The R100 per lesson is payable in cash on booking - if there is more
than one lesson the balance is to be paid in cash on the day of the
course.
We will send you the requirements list once the teacher has confirmed
she is happy with the number of students signed up for the course.
