Mandy has been an avid patchwork- and quilter for the past 15 years. She
has dabbled in dressmaking, decoupage, bisc-painting, fabric-painting,
scrap booking and many other handcrafts - Patchwork & Quilting remains
her favourite.
She enjoys challenges - tackling new quilting projects, trying different
patchwork methods - and generally, the sharing of ideas and the
interaction with other quilters who share her passion for the craft.
At any given time, Mandy is busy working on more than one quilt, as well
as some other handcraft project(/s). She has designed a quilt for just
about all her family members.
Mandy has always dreamed of opening her own craft shop and enjoys
teaching and tutoring others - The Quilting Bug has now allowed her to
combine her passions and realise her dream. She is assisted by her
mother-in-law, Rhoda, and her friend, Rose.
She lives with her husband and daughter Jess, and two spoilt Labs -
Missy & Alice.
